Between Grand Island and North Platte, the river runs parallel to I-80 and occasionally zigzags under it. Along the way, there are many small towns, which still have a main street USA, an original movie theater, brick streets, and plenty of friendly people. They too need the resource of the river.
Be sure to drive into the local business district. You might cross over the Platte River to get there. Certainly you’ll see plenty of farmland, quonset huts, and grain elevators. In some towns, you can have breakfast or lunch in the shadow of agriculture.
We will capture the architecture of agriculture and the vibe and spirit of small town Nebraska USA.
